Will featured guests and performers be onboard the cruise the full time?
All of our featured guests and performers will be sailing with us for at least some portion, if not all of the cruise. There may be a few cases where guests join us during the trip or depart early due to their personal schedule or family commitments. However, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get autographs, take pictures and otherwise meet and greet everyone!
Do I need a passport to go on the cruise?
The Liberty Ship STRONGLY recommends all guests travel with a valid passport, or one of the new Passport Cards. However, it is not necessarily required. PLEASE CLICK HERE for a complete explanation of the travel documentation required to attend The Liberty Ship.
What does the price include?
Your Cruise Fare includes your accommodations on-board the ship, all meals in the main dining room(s) and cafeteria, other casual dining throughout the day, non-carbonated beverages (coffee, tea, juices, etc), 24-hour room service (surcharge may apply to some items), use of the ship’s pools, health and fitness centers.
Your cruise fare does not include Liberty Ship event hospitality and other event related charges, onboard gratuities to the ship’s personnel, government fees and taxes, fuel surcharges, transportation to/from ship, shore excursions, sightseeing or meals ashore, meals in specialty and à la carte restaurants, laundry, wine, beer, liquors, cocktails, soda, mineral water, medical expenses, spa, beauty salon, casino gaming, onboard shopping, or any other items of a personal nature.
What are the prices and payment schedule?
Rates as described on the Pricing page of the The Liberty Ship website (http://www.thelibertyship.com/prices/), are per person based on double occupancy. The date you make your reservation will ultimately determine your total payment due at the time of booking, and the subsequent payment dates.

$9.12 per passenger deposit is due for Cat-1 thru Cat-11
$91.20 per passenger deposit is due for Cat-12 Suites
After February 15, 2010
$250 per passenger deposit is due for Cat-1 thru Cat-11
$500 per passenger deposit is due for Cat-12 Suites

- Reservations made after the final payment date of August 13, 2009, require a minimum 50% deposit, and must be paid in full within 30 days of the booking or 30 days from the departure date (10/15/2010), whichever comes first.
- All cabin reservations made after 30 days from the departure date (10/15/2010), must be paid in full at the time of the reservation.
- A $50 late payment fee will be applied per passenger for each cabin that does not remit payment by the required payment deadlines
- If payment in full has not been received by August 13th, The Liberty Ship reserves the right to consider a reservation cancelled, and to charge the applicable cancellation penalties.
What are the additional passenger fees?
The additional passenger fees of $266 (USD) include, but are not limited to, event hospitality and other event related charges, mandatory government taxes and fees, passenger facility charges, security surcharges, fuel supplement charges and international passenger departure or arrival tax, customs user fee, immigration fee and agricultural inspection fee, and miscellaneous ticketing fees. This will be charged with the balance due on your cabin. These taxes and fees are subject to increase prior to your departure date, in which case you will be invoiced for the balance prior to your boarding the ship.
